Third generation Korean skincare has arrived! MIMU MIMU’s cleansing oil features Korean Spa Water or Onsen-sui but it’s not just for show because this cleansing oil has a heating effect that will definitely give you the Korean spa sensation.

MIMU MIMU’s cleansing oil has a heating formula that opens up the pores which allows it to cleanse and melt away dirt and sebum. To cool down my skin, I used the MIMU MIMU cooling toner three times. This toner has a patented cooling system, allowing it to close the opened up pores while deeply hydrating it.

MIMU MIMU Heating Calming i.n.g Cleansing Oil Review
My absolute favorite among the MIMU MIMU products is the MIMU MIMU Heating Calming i.n.g Cleansing Oil. The heating sensation is its star feature. We know that heat can open up pores but what I found convenient about the MIMU MIMU cleansing oil’s heating sensation is that I don’t have to keep adjusting my water temperature to get the right amount of heat. I don’t find the heat too hot, I find that this cleansing oil provides suitable heat for my skin, just enough to open up my pores.

Why Onsen-sui?
Hot spring water or onsen-sui is known to be rich in minerals and aims to improve the skin texture. The Heating Formula makes your skin feel soft like you’ve just taken a bath in hot spring water.

How is the MIMU MIMU Heating Calming i.n.g Cleansing Oil different from other cleansing oils?
Certainly, it’s my first time encountering a cleansing oil that can give my skin a heating sensation. MIMU MIMU’s Heating Formula opens up the pores to remove sebum and blackheads from within. Also it aims to melt away dead skin cells to reveal a softer skin with every use. 

How to Use the MIMU MIMU Heating Calming i.n.g Cleansing Oil?
Shake the bottle first and then rub the cleansing oil onto your hands before applying it to your face. Even if I didn’t shake and rub the cleansing oil, I could still feel a heating sensation on my skin but I find that shaking the bottle then rubbing the cleansing oil creates a more heated sensation. According to MIMU MIMU, this active heating system causes pores to temporarily expand in order for it to remove blackheads.

MIMU MIMU Cooling Calming i.n.g Toner Review
Light and liquidy, the MIMU MIMU Cooling Calming i.n.g Toner is easy to spread, not sticky and not greasy at all. This toner is really quick to settle and be absorbed by my skin, making it easy for me to layer the toner onto my skin. My skin feels hydrated and looks dewy after layering this toner 3 times.

Heating and Cooling down my pores with the Home Spa Skincare
The heating sensation is slightly similar to when I exercise and my face heats up and opens my pores while the sweat cools down my skin. In this case, the cleansing oil opens up my pores to deeply cleanse my skin while the toner cools down my skin and closes up the pores.

Viscous but easy to spread, the MIMU MIMU Cooling Calming i.n.g Serum feels light on my skin. It doesn’t leave a sticky finish and it doesn’t look greasy on my skin. It makes my skin feel highly hydrated and leaves it with a dewy finish. When I tested this cooling serum on my hands, I didn’t feel any cooling sensation (maybe because my hands are usually cold). However, when I used it with the heating cleansing oil on my face, I felt my skin cool down.
