StyleKorean TikTok Outfit Sunscreen Challenge [Skin1004, Mixsoon, Beauty of Joseon & Tocobo Review]

DEAR DREAMERS
Another fun TikTok challenge from StyleKorean is this TikTok Outfit Sunscreen Challenge. This time, it took me a bit more effort to create this video because I had to match the clothes and accessories to the sunscreen and also because I had to shoot the videos on separate days. I’m so happy that the video came out nicely. What I love about this challenge is that it involves some trending sunscreens as well as some newly released sunscreens.

For the sunscreens that I haven’t reviewed before, I came up with short reviews of them.

Sunscreens
Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum
Mixsoon Centella Sun Cream
Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick : Mugwort + Camilia
Tocobo Vita Tone Up Sun Cream
Abib Quick Sunstick Protection Bar
Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel

Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum
Key Ingredients: Hyalu-Cica Formula and non-nano chemical sunscreen.
Features: SPF50+ PA++++
Price: PHP730 (14 USD)

Review: Light and easy to spread, the Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum is quick to settle on my skin. It doesn’t leave any sticky residue and it doesn’t leave my skin looking greasy. I love how it doesn’t leave a white cast and that it appears barely there on my skin. It doesn’t sting my eyes when I apply this sunscreen on my eyelids. My skin feels hydrated and slightly dewy after applying this sun serum.

Mixsoon Centella Sun Cream
Key Ingredients: Centella Asiatica and chemical sunscreen.
Features: SPF50+ PA++++
Price: PHP464 PHP (8.90 USD)

Review: I love the hint of mintiness that the Mixsoon Centella Sun Cream gives my skin. The mint sensation is not too strong. I like that it’s not sticky and doesn’t look greasy on my skin. It also leaves no whitecast. I tried applying this sunscreen on my eyelids and the sunscreen didn’t sting my eyes because the sunscreen quickly adheres to my skin. The mint sensation is definitely a welcomed feeling on a hot summer day.

Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick : Mugwort + Camilia
Key Ingredients: Mugwort and Camilia.
Features: SPF50+ PA++++
Price: PHP724 (13.90 USD)

Review: I like how smooth and silky my skin feels after applying the Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick. It doesn’t leave a whitecast nor any other trace on my skin, it’s also non-sticky and non-greasy. It also doesn’t sting my eyes when I apply this sunstick on my eyelids. I feel that it slightly pulls on my skin when I apply this sunstick on dry skin. However, when my skin is moist and I’m extra gentle, the sunstick doesn’t pull on my skin. Best of all, it also makes my oily skin appear less shiny because of its sebum control properties! It’s definitely the perfect sunscreen for reapplication on my oily skin.

Tocobo Vita Tone Up Sun Cream
Key Ingredients: Hippophae Rhamnoides Water(50%) and Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract (1%).
Features: SPF50+ PA++++
Price: PHP782 (15 USD)

Review: For a quick pick-me-up, the Tocobo Vita Tone Up Sun Cream  does the trick of brightening up my skin. I love the slightly pink tone-up effect from this sun cream and I also like how moisturizing it is. It’s non-sticky and non-greasy. It’s also fairly easy to spread on my skin but I took more time spreading it to make sure that the tone-up appearance is even. I’m also able to apply it on my eyelids without stinging my eyes.

Abib Quick Sunstick Protection Bar

    1. Hmm, it's a tough question for me since I rotate these sunscreens regularly. However, I've found myself using the Skin1004 one more often while I mostly use the Beauty of Joseon for reapplication.
