Miguhara Ultra Whitening First Essence and Ampoule Review

DEAR DREAMERS
I was quite intrigued by Miguhara because this is the K-Beauty brand that collaborated with one of my favorite cosplayer, Hakken. I love how she (I’m not sure what pronouns Hakken uses but she is female) can pull off such masculine and handsome looks. Unfortunately, the skincare products that I’ll be using aren't from the Miguhara x Hakken collab line but there’s still a lot to love about these two skincare products.

Miguhara Ultra Whitening First Essence
Key Ingredients: Matricaria Extract, Niacinamide, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, and Nettle Extract.

Functions: Whitening, Smoothening, Brightening, and Moisturizing.

Review: Initially, I thought the Miguhara Ultra Whitening First Essence was a toner because of its big bottle. Despite being liquidy, this essence makes my skin feel moist. It’s not sticky and it doesn’t make my skin appear greasy but it does take some time for my skin to fully absorb this essence. It may be an essence but there are times where I have been using it in place of a toner.

Miguhara Ultra Whitening First Ampoule
Key Ingredients: Matricaria Extract, Niacinamide, Allantoin, and Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract.

Functions: Whitening, Smoothening, Brightening, and Moisturizing.

Review: Thick and viscous, the Miguhara Ultra Whitening First Ampoule leaves the surface of my skin with a moisture barrier. It feels slightly sticky and appears slightly greasy but I do appreciate how it thickly envelops my skin. It takes some time for my skin to fully absorb the ampoule. It’s quite soothing and moisturizing, it also leaves my skin looking slightly brighter.

Thank you Manila Influencers for sending me these to review.

    1. No, it's different from a toner but I like to use it in place of a toner when I double cleanse.
