d'Alba Waterfull Essence Suncream & d'Alba Waterfull Tone Up Suncream [Comparison & Review]

DEAR DREAMERS
A premium vegan beauty brand, d’Alba Piedmont was inspired by White Truffles, an ingredient that is rich in nutrients and has antioxidant properties. The name d’Alba Piedmont originates from the location in which they harvest their white truffles but d’Alba is actually a Korean beauty brand.

d'Alba Waterfull Essence Suncream
Features: Chemical UV filters, SPF 50+ PA++++, 100% vegan formula, clinically proven hypoallergenic, and 24 hour hydration.

Key Ingredients: Trufferol (White Truffle + Tocopherol), Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, and Centella Asiatica.

Review: A sunscreen that doesn’t leave a whitecast, the d'Alba Waterfull Essence Suncream makes my skin feels moist after using it. It doesn’t look greasy and it doesn’t feel sticky, it makes my skin look slightly dewy. Compared to the d'Alba Waterfull Tone Up Suncream, the finish feels much smoother and if I brush my finger against my face, my finger glides easier on the d'Alba Waterfull Essence Suncream’s finish. I like that it doesn’t sting my eyes. I definitely prefer the d'Alba Waterfull Essence Suncream for my oily skin, I’d use it when I’m just staying at home.

Price: You can get the d'Alba Waterfull Essence Suncream for ₱1,210 ($21.20) at my Charis shop.

d'Alba Waterfull Tone Up Suncream
Features: Reef-friendly, SPF 50+PA++++, 100% vegan formula, hybrid UV filters, and hypollergenic.

Key Ingredients: Trufferol (White Truffle + Tocopherol), Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, and Centella Asiatica.

Review: Leaving my skin looking toned up and brightened up, the d'Alba Waterfull Tone Up Suncream leaves a very light whitecast, it’s not too obvious but it certainly is there because of the tone up effect. After a few minutes, the sunscreen will settle on my skin and have a less whitecast appearance. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue and it doesn’t make my skin look greasy. I like that it’s easy to spread on my skin and how I’m able to create an even look with minimal effort (some tone up creams don’t do well on my skin and will make it obvious that I’m wearing a tone-up product).

Due to the tone up effect, my skin looks somewhat shiny in some lighting. It also doesn’t sting my eyes when I apply the sunscreen on my eyelids. I prefer wearing the d'Alba Waterfull Tone Up Suncream when I go out and don’t really want to put on makeup.
