Appearance-wise, it looks like water since it is transparent in color and very liquidy. After washing off the ByWishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water, my skin felt smooth and looked clean. At first, it felt a bit tingly when I applied the ByWishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water on my forehead. It didn’t feel tingly on other parts of my face though. Despite the slight tingling sensation, there were no signs of irritation on my skin, it didn’t look red or irritated.

I’m still looking for how I can incorporate this product into my routine. As of now, I’m using the Prep Water on my nose and chin once a day, every other day. I decided to apply it solely on my nose and chin since my nose is prone to blackheads while my chin is prone to getting pimples. I also have some acne scars on my chin and it seems to have lightened since I started using this Prep Water.

It’s best to slowly incorporate this exfoliating water into your skincare routine, especially if you’re new to AHA and BHA. You should take note of what products to avoid while using these acids as well to prevent irritation.
