I've been eyeing Keep Cool for months since I was curious as to what's so good about it. It's really popular on Instagram and a lot of skincare influencers have been sharing them. I'm really grateful to Althea for giving me the opportunity to review Keep Cool, especially the sun essence which was what piqued my interest the most.

When I heard that the sun essence was perfect for those who have oily outer skin and dry inner skin, I was sold! This is exactly how my skin feels.

Review
With a highly viscous nature, the Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence is thick yet it feels light on my skin. This sun essence makes me feel like I’m not wearing sunscreen at all since it leaves no white cast and it doesn’t have any odor. It really is like an essence in nature, one that is not oily at all and one that does not leave the skin looking greasy. Rather, it leaves a smooth and moisturized finish. 

I tried wearing the Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence without using moisturizer to test if its hydrating properties can suffice. It contains seven different kinds of Hyaluronic Acid which can reach deeper parts of the skin. It really does feel more moisturizing than other sunscreens that I’ve tried, it leaves my skin feeling smoother as compared to areas where I didn’t apply the sunscreen.

The Keep Cool Sun Essence is really gentle on my skin, it does not sting around the eye area.

Since it's moisturizing enough, it's a lot easier to reapply the sunscreen. I can simply use the Keep Cool Soothe Water to cleanse my skin and apply the sunscreen afterward.
