Propolis or "bee glue" is often associated with honey and is widely used for medicinal purposes. I often think that propolis products are thick and highly viscous but the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule is, to my surprise, rather light. Rather than using water, the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule uses Houttuynia Cordata Extract which is effective in soothing acne.

Review
I've tried a propolis ampoule before and which was why I expected a highly viscous consistency. To my surprise, the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule was not that viscous. On the contrary, it was pretty light, much like serums. It left my skin highly moisturized and it didn't clog my pores either. It's not as sticky as I expected it to be but there is still a slight stickiness to it. It has a fairly high percentage of propolis so I was expecting it to be a lot stickier and a lot thicker, but I do like it this way where it's fairly light and not that sticky.

Morning Routine vs Night Routine

For a day, I tried using only the ampoule along with a cleanser and toner. My findings were that it wasn't quick to be absorbed by the skin, it left a layer of the product on the surface of my skin. When it was time to apply sunscreen, the ampoule had mixed with my sunscreen. I have oily skin so it might be a different case for those dry skin. During the nighttime, it was much colder and it would often leave my skin with a need for more moisture. In summary, due to my oily skin, I prefer to use this ampoule at night since it leaves my skin with a protective barrier, preventing it from drying out.
