Review
One of the best parts about this gel cleanser is that it doesn't dry out my oily, acne-prone skin. I've used it multiple times on my face, and it's noticeable how well it cleanses my skin especially on parts where there is a frequent build-up of dirt such as my nose. My personal preference when it comes to cleansers is an oil cleanser because I love the little oil that oil cleansers leave behind. However, I find that using this gel cleanser to double cleanse is effective since it can remove any makeup that might have gotten stuck on the pores.
It doesn't have a fragrant scent nor does it smell bad either. The scent is more of a neutral one which I like because that means it contains no synthetic fragrance. It also contains zero sodium laurel sulfate which is another plus point for me. It won't foam as much since it has no SLS but it still does form a bit of a lather if you massage it.
You can find your own routine when it comes to this cleanser. After using it on my entire face, I've settled on using it daily on my nose area since that's my area that's prone to acne, blackheads, and dead skin cell build-up. As for my entire face, I've started using it once to twice a week. Once a week, if I use it in conjunction with a strong chemical exfoliator. This way, it keeps my skin free from blackheads while keeping acne at bay without drying my skin out and without over-exfoliating. You definitely want to be cautious about over-exfoliating if you use other skin care products that contain chemical exfoliators.
