Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Oil Review
DEAR DREAMERS
I’m always keen to try out new cleansing oils and what piqued my interest the most in this Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Oil is its green tea component. Green tea is known to soothe skin which is perfect if you have maskne, which I had at the time I bought this cleansing oil. If you’re concerned with maskne, you can read about my article on how to treat and prevent maskne.

Sometimes, when it comes to a brand I trust, I don't check the ingredients before I use it. Such was the case when I tried the Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Oil. The reason why I love cleansing oils is that they're supposed to clean your skin without stripping it of its natural oils. However, when I used Innisfree's Green Tea Cleansing Oil, I felt that it wasn't as moist as it should be. It didn't dry my skin but my skin didn't look as moist as it would have as compared to when I use my other cleansing oils. It was then that I decided to check the ingredients (oops). I know I should have checked it before buying it lol. Anyway, it lists alcohol as one of its ingredients which explains it.
If you don't have oily skin, you probably won't mind it. However, if you have oily skin, you've probably heard that you're not supposed to use toners that have alcohol since it's going to strip your skin of its natural oils and cause the skin to overproduce oil.
Review
In my case, it seems as though it didn't affect me because after applying on the rest of my skincare products, my skin didn't go on overproducing oil. I’m not too keen on it having alcohol as one of its ingredients but to be clear, the alcohol didn’t really affect my skin as a whole. It’s just something I noticed, it was a slight difference, but since I’ve been using cleansing oils for more than a year or two now, I noticed it. Despite having alcohol as an ingredient, it didn’t sting my skin or irritate it, so I’ll definitely go on using this cleansing oil.
If you’re going to use the Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Oil as part of your double cleansing for makeup removal, then you probably won’t mind the alcohol ingredient. Having alcohol as part of its ingredients might actually even be more helpful in wiping off the makeup especially if you have greasy makeup on.
It does dispense a lot per pump, one pump can easily cover my face and neck without having to add water. Even after covering my face and neck, I’m still left with a bit of cleansing oil, so you can actually try to use a half a pump if you’re not in a hurry.
Wow! super ganda daw to Miss Prelel wish I could try it 😍💚
