As a K-Beauty lover, specifically a Korean skincare lover, I cannot help but be excited when it comes to discovering Korean skincare products that are worth the hype. Introducing BRTC, a Korean skincare brand focusing on the idea of supplementing our skin with much-needed vitamins. I find it neat how each of their skincare products focuses on infusing our skin with certain vitamins. Each of the sheet masks or velvet mask has a specific vitamin in mind which addresses different needs of the skin.

Appearance-wise, BRTC’s skincare products look very professional, like something you would buy from a dermatologist. Although I prefer cute packaging above all, these types of packaging are not bad. It looks neat and elegant, where sheet masks have a capsule as a design and the moisturizers, creams, serums and etc have half a beaker as a design.

Review

Given that I have oily skin, I tend to shy away from heavy creams when it comes to moisturizers. During hot weather, I prefer using serums and water-based moisturizers. I’ve used water-based moisturizers before but I haven’t tried one from a Korean brand, until now. What I like about BRTC Gel Vitalizer is its dual function of skin whitening and wrinkle improvement.

My skin has been getting duller recently so I really hoped that the BRTC Gel Vitalizer could help me out, especially since it’s perfect for oily skin like mine.

Consistency-wise, it's as the name suggests, it is gel-like and upon application and spreading, it leaves a shiny finish. However, after a few seconds, it no longer looks shiny but upon touching the skin, I felt that there was a thin of the product left on the surface of the skin which felt ever so slightly sticky but appearance-wise, it looks like there is no product on my skin but you can definitely tell that my skin looked moisturized.
