I love using serums as much as the next Korean beauty addict and it’s no surprise that other steps in our cleansing routine have come to take on a serum form as well due to the popularity of serums. You might have heard of a cleansing serum but have you tried using a peeling serum?

Review

On the areas where I applied the peel serum, my skin was undoubtedly smoother and felt softer on those areas. I can clearly feel the difference when I touch the area I used the product on and the area where I didn't.

At first, I wondered why it was called a peel tingle serum as I didn't feel any tingle on my cheeks but when I applied the peel serum on my nose, that was when I felt the tingles. My nose is where most of my skin problems lie, it's prone to blackheads and pimples while the pores on my nose are pretty big hence it's also prone to having dirt and sebum accumulated when I don't do my usual skincare routine. I felt that the more it tingled my skin on my nose, the more that it was cleaning my pores from deep within.

No Irritation

It didn’t irritate my skin and the tingle I felt was really just a tingle, not a stinging sensation. Although you’re only supposed to leave it on the skin for around 30-60 seconds, I had the peel serum on my cheeks for around 30 minutes because I was taking photos, and yet there was no irritation.

Clean and Smooth

After rinsing off the peel serum, the pores on my nose looked pretty clean and it felt smoother too!

Pinkish Glow

As you can see in the photo above, the area on my nose and cheeks look smoother and has a pinkish glow (I only applied the product on my nose and cheeks).

Verdict

An effective exfoliator, the So Natural Red Peel Tingle Serum is perfect for those who want to use less force when it comes to exfoliating. It works just as well as a physical exfoliator when it comes to sloughing off the dead skin cells on the surface, but in a much more gentle touch.
