Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser Review
DEAR DREAMERS
Sonic cleansers have been popular for the past few years, and with good reason too. It promises efficient cleansing, it guarantees deep pore cleansing at minimal durations. While there are a lot of sonic cleansers out there, the price can get pretty hefty but luckily, there's an affordable sonic cleanser that has been raved about.
If you've read my Top 10 Althea Christmas 2018 Wishlist, then you would know that I'm talking about the Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser. For girls who are always in a rush or moms who never have enough time, the Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser looked like a lifesaver to me! This baby can create 10,000 sonic oscillations per minute. It's a gentle yet powerful brush that will clean your pores and efficiently remove makeup.
WHY THE POBLING PORE SONIC CLEANSER?
There are a lot of good sonic brushes out there but most of these electric brushes that were praised were pretty pricey. Given that I really trust Korean beauty brands, seeing that the Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser was priced at P1,080 or around $20, I decided to give it a try.
I'm a bit wary of trying out electric skincare tools since I bought a set of electric skincare tools for P400 from an e-voucher site back in high school and I was utterly disappointed which is why I vowed never to purchase electric skincare tools that were cheap. I've learned my lesson that cheap electric skincare tools either easily broke down or did not perform at all. This was over 10 years ago though so I could be wrong with today's cheap electric skincare tools.
First Impressions
Compact and light, the Pobling Sonic Cleanser weighing at 60 grams had a sleek appearance. I do wish I had gotten the gold one but it was out of stock at Althea. The brush had really soft and fine bristles which feel really nice.
Review
It's fairly easy to use and I like that it's waterproof so I can use it in the shower. I used the Althea Real Fresh Skin Detoxer as the cleanser and I used a bit too much so it kept foaming which is why I'll probably use it in the shower from now on when I pair it with this cleanser.
With soft fine hair coupled with 10,000 sonic oscillations per minute, it's no wonder that my face felt tickled.
The reason why I wanted a sonic cleanser is that of the stubborn blackheads on my nose. I really hoped that this sonic cleanser could get rid of the stubborn blackheads on my nose. For the other parts of my face like my cheeks, the sonic cleanser was able to clean the pores from blackheads. As for my nose, it looked like it was able to clear the blackheads on the surface but it was not able to get rid of the deep-seated blackheads.
I expected as much though since when I go to facials, they usually cannot extract the blackheads from my nose using the vacuum and they would have to use a metal extraction tool for the deep-seated blackheads on my nose.
BEFORE AND AFTER
Overall, the Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser is a really good product. It was able to leave my skin squeaky clean and with a smooth finish. It's good in removing makeup and dirt from the skin. Using this sonic cleanser is definitely more efficient than cleansing using my bare hands.
