REVIA CARE COLOR CREAM REVIEW
Dear Dreamers
Dyeing your hair at home is a difficult task, or so I thought. What I didn’t expect was that I would try dyeing someone else’s hair.
I recently received a Revia hair dye. I was excited to try it on myself but since it’s not safe for breastfeeding, I decided to use it on my husband.
I expected that the dye would not be so visible on his hair since I chose the shade of mahogany which was supposed to be for my dark brownish hair. He had black hair, we were expecting at least red highlights.
WHAT WE DID
We didn’t directly mix the color cream into the activating emulsion bottle like the instructions told us to. We used a mixing bowl since we planned to use only a few hair dye for his short hair.
REVIEW
The Revia dye was pretty easy to use. The smell was not so bad, in fact, it didn’t smell foul at all. We probably should have used more dye but my husband kept telling me to finish it up. I couldn’t bleach either since he had virgin hair. The result was not so visible, but under the sun, some parts of his hair looked reddish.
The best part about this dye is that it didn’t seem to damage his hair. Despite using ample amount of hair dye, his hair still feels silky.
