GOODS.PH ONLINE SHOPPING SITE REVIEW

DEAR DREAMERS

Previously, I blogged about my tote bag from Goods PH but I did not really delve into the details of the quality of their services. So today, I will be talking about my experience of shopping at their site. But first, a brief description; Goods PH is an online shopping site based in the Philippines. Their site houses products of their own as well as their merchants’ items.

ITEMS

Before I talk about my experience, I will let you in first on what I ordered.

Fashion Women Handbag Messenger Shoulder Bag(P330)

I wore this handbag at the opening of the Brothers’ Food Park and during the ProYoung Spa Party.

I really love this handbag! At first, only the black one was available and I really wanted to get the khaki color. Luckily, they restocked the khaki ones. I bought it for around P330, but now it’s only P269 on their site! Despite looking small and handy, this handbag can actually fit my DSLR camera while having room for more of my stuff.

I thought this purple bag would make a cute makeup bag but I also used it for the E! Bloggers Ball as a handbag.

Korean Style Women Hairband Flower Floral Bridal Hair Accessories (P149)

The flower hairband seemed like a sturdier option to a floral crown. I first used it on my APEO post and on my Kezi Baby post.

Cute soft cartoon cat ears headband (P175)

This cat ears headband really caught my eye, I have been looking for something similar for a while now. I used it at my Charmzone review post.

I bought this wallet as a birthday gift for Isaac.

ORDERING

I ordered four separate times from Goods PH, two of the orders contained two items each while two of the orders had only one item each. The order process was smooth, I was done in a jiffy with no setbacks whatsoever.

PAYMENT

The payment methods are convenient. There were a lot of payment options to choose from, they had Paypal, GCash, Smart Money, Bank Transfer, Bank Payment options, Non-Bank Payment partners (Bayad Center, ECPay, etc) and cash on delivery. I chose Paypal.

SHIPPING

For deliveries within Metro Manila, shipping is free with no minimum amount. For orders outside Metro Manila, it will vary from the location. Some of the products indicate if it will be processed for shipping on the following day.

DELIVERY TIME

The delivery time really depends on where the products are coming from, some of their products are available in their warehouse while some come from elsewhere. For the products that I ordered, it only took a few days (2-7 days) while some took longer (3 - 4 weeks). One of my two-item orders had the items delivered separately, one of the items was readily available in their warehouse so it arrived in 3 days while the other one was stocked elsewhere so it took longer to be delivered. I did not pay any extra shipping fee for the separation of the delivery.

DELIVERY

The products all arrived safely. My only problem was with their delivery boy because one of my orders arrived at my parents’ house while I was out. Our household help was unaware that I did not have to pay anything because I paid for my order using Paypal. It was even indicated in the form that came with the package that my order was already paid for. However, the delivery boy told our household help that she had to pay P25. He confused the paid balanced with the unpaid balance (the item cost P275, I paid P250 with a gift certificate with the P25 was paid with my Paypal).

Other than that mishap, their courier was okay. They texted me in order to update and inform me if my package will soon arrive.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

The only interaction I had with their customer service was when I messaged their Facebook Page to ask when will the other colors of the bag be restocked. Within minutes, I was immediately responded to and had my question answered.

TOTAL EXPERIENCE

Overall, shopping at Goods PH is enjoyable. They carry a lot of items which I really like and are priced at very affordable prices.
