Last April 23, 2016, A. Refinery opened its first concept store in Metro Manila. With the slogan of “Lifestyle - Music - Technology”, A. Refinery serves as an experience hub for audio and lifestyle.

“Perfect for movie buffs, Vinyl and turntable collectors, sports fanatics and any music listener, the A. Refinery creates a completely immersive movie and music experience, as well as other interesting products for almost any profile” said A. Refinery’s sales team. “A. Refinery represents today’s forward thinking of home entertainment, HiFi concepts, portable media all integrated into one retail shop. We are now able to offer a complete showcase for our products and services as well as a creative setting for our customers, bringing this central mission to life in a new way.”

Providing opportunity for the customers to discover music and movies in a different light, A. Refinery is truly a unique lifestyle destination. “See, Hear, Experience”, these words are the company’s mission. A. Refinery houses iconic brands such as longtime German headphone powerhouse Beyerdynamic, and two of Britain’s leading audio innovators Chord Electronics Ltd. and Q Acoustics. The store will also be an ideal setting for non-audio brands such as Booq Cases, Lineaflux Hyperchargers, as well as one of the newest innovations of the 21st Century – Home Automation by Control 4.

Isaac and I were able to try out their JBL headphones as well as other products. They had various product specialists to explain the products as well as what makes these products top-notch.

In order to celebrate, A. Refinery’s grand opening, programs were hosted all throughout the day. A. Refinery shirts, headphones and a Harman Kardon Esquire speaker were raffled off. A limited time sale as well as the first leg of the AR Jam Sessions featuring Mayonnaise and Jensen and the Flips were part of the festivities.

Experiencing their home theater was a treat, we experienced movies like we would have at cinemas. Trying out the Home Automation by Control 4 was really fun, we could control the various lights and curtains through the tablet to suit our movie experience.

At present, A. Refinery has confirmed two additional store locations in the Philippines slated to hold their own grand opening later this year at Ayala Center Cebu and Abreeza Mall Davao. A. Refinery is located at the 2nd Level of UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue and will be open seven days a week from 11AM to 9PM on Sundays through Thursdays, and 10AM to 10PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
