A couple of years ago, my family used to purchase Dulcelin’s mango torte for birthdays. The Dulcelin we used to buy from is located along Times Street. However, for this food post, we dined at UP Town Center’s Dulcelin Gourmet which is situated beside 8 Cuts Burger Blends at the second floor of UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue. The prices of their offerings are not so student friendly but the taste and portion certainly makes up for it. If you are tight on money, you can opt to order their sharing sized dishes with a friend.

Salmon Rilletes (280 Pesos)

Salmon rilletes is a mix of poached and cured salmon with dill, shallots, and creme fraiche, this dish is also served with sliced baguette.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken (295 Pesos)

Their buttermilk fried chicken is made from boneless chicken thighs which was marinated in buttermilk then fried until crisp. This dish is served with homemade biscuits and sausage gravy.

Fresh Mushroom Pasta (349 Pesos)

Tagliatelle with button and shiitake mushrooms in a thick truffle cream.

Chicken Relleno (250 Pesos For Single Serve)

Chicken relleno, a Dulcelin bestseller, features boneless chicken stuffed with pork, chorizo and other scrumptious ingredients. This dish is also served with Miso-corn rice and bacon sauteed French beans.

Hickory Smoked Pork Belly (225 Pesos)

This dish features dry rubbed, smoked and grilled pork belly smothered with barbeque sauce. Miso-corn rice and bacon sauteed French beans are served alongside this dish.

Creamy Truffled Mashed Potato (90 Pesos)
